Vampire Feast (vampirefeast.io) is operated by Orivexsystems, Sweden ("we"). We keep data to a minimum. This policy explains what we handle and your rights under the GDPR.
Your vampire name, party code, personal records, settings and a random sync code are stored in your browser's local storage. This stays on your device unless you choose to use cloud sync (below).
To run a match and protect the server from abuse, we process your IP address and gameplay inputs in memory only. IP addresses are not written to any lasting store and are not kept after your session.
Purchases are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never seen or stored by us. Stripe processes your payment and contact email as the payment processor — see stripe.com/privacy.
So you can recover a purchase if you lose your account code, we store a one-way hash of your purchase email and card last-4 digits (never the raw values, and never your full card number) mapped to your account code. Entering those two details — both shown on your Stripe receipt — lets you restore your purchase on any device. Attempts are rate-limited.
The game itself sets no tracking cookies. Ads are served by Google AdSense, which may use cookies to show and measure ads. In the EU/EEA/UK a consent dialog asks you first, and ads are non-personalised without your consent. Details and choices are in our Cookie Policy. You can also remove ads entirely with the in-game Remove Ads option.
We keep only anonymous, aggregate counts (e.g. how many matches were played). These contain no names, no IP addresses and no per-person profiles.
We rely on our legitimate interest to run and protect the game, performance of a contract to deliver a purchase you make, and your consent for advertising cookies.
You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict your data, and to object or complain to a supervisory authority (in Sweden, IMY). Most of what we hold is anonymous or keyed to your random sync code; to exercise a right or delete a purchase/cloud-sync record, contact us with the relevant sync code or Stripe receipt. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
The game is for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
