Playing
Is Vampire Feast free?
Yes, completely. The full game — every evolution, the Crimson King endgame, covens, all of it — is free. Ads fund it. There is one optional one-time purchase that removes ads permanently, and cosmetic-only skins and auras. Nothing sold affects gameplay.
Do I need to download or install anything?
No. It runs in the browser. There is no client, no launcher, no plugin and no account.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes — on phones and tablets, in portrait or landscape, with on-screen thumb controls for attack, pounce, feeding and coven pings. Mobile and desktop players share the same arenas.
How do I play with friends?
Type a party code on the menu before you enter, or press the invite button to send a link — everyone who joins with the same code lands in the same arena as a coven. Covenmates can feed each other mass by holding E, and can ping the map.
Progress
Is my progress saved?
Your level, XP, streak and cosmetics are saved in your browser automatically. To carry them to another device, open the profile panel on the menu and use sync progress — copy the code, paste it on the other device.
Do I lose everything when I die?
You lose the run's mass and evolution — that is the genre. Your account-level progression (level, XP, unlocked cosmetics, records) is permanent.
The game
How many vampire forms are there?
Ten, from the Blood Mite to the Dread Progenitor at 2,100 mass — see the full evolution list. Above them sit the Crimson King and the Dracul dragon form.
What is the Crimson King?
The endgame. Reach 2,150 mass and the arena calls a 30-second trial; the winner is crowned, becomes enormously powerful, and is hunted by every player and by the Holy Order until they fall. The full mechanics are in the Crimson King guide.
Are there bots?
Yes, and deliberately so — they fill arenas at quiet hours so a round is never empty. They are built to play like people: reaction latency, aim error, real mistakes, and as of v3.9.5 they hunt other players rather than farming NPCs.
Is there a single-player mode?
The game is designed as live multiplayer. A serverless build of the same game runs on portal sites, where the simulation runs entirely in your browser.
Technical
What browsers are supported?
Any current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari or Opera, on desktop or mobile. The game uses WebSockets and Canvas — both universal for the better part of a decade.
The game is laggy — what can I do?
Close other tabs (a background video eats the same GPU), disable browser extensions that inject scripts, and check whether you are on Wi-Fi far from the router. The client is a fixed 30-tick simulation with interpolation, so a stable connection matters more than a fast one.
How do I report a bug or a player?
Email support@vampirefeast.io, or see the contact page for what to include so we can act on it — for a bug, your browser and the game version; for a player, the name shown in the arena and roughly when. Names are moderated automatically at every entry point, but behaviour needs a person to review.
