Every vampire evolution, in order

By the Vampire Feast team at Orivexsystems · Updated

Vampire Feast has ten vampire forms, and you evolve purely by gaining mass — at 28, 75, 160, 285, 460, 720, 1,060, 1,520 and finally 2,100. Each form replaces your signature power entirely, and raw power ascends the whole way. The table below is generated from the live game's balance file, so it is always current.

9 Ancient Elder 1,520 💥 Crimson Nova 6s
10 Dread Progenitor 2,100 ☄️ Crimson Cataclysm 7.5s

Mass thresholds are deliberately a slow climb — each form is a chapter you live in, not a checkpoint you blow past. Reaching the last form is the achievement of a good run, not a formality.

The forms in detail

1. Blood Mite

Your starting form · Latch · 0.85s cooldown

A parasite. You are almost harmless, but your Latch heals you for more than chip damage takes, so you can sit on a critter and drink through it. Stay in the grass, avoid open ground.

2. Fledgling Bat

Reached at 28 mass · Dive · 2.2s cooldown

Your first real movement tool. The Dive is a 470-impulse lunge — it closes a gap or breaks a chase, and at this size breaking the chase is usually the right call.

3. Ghoul

Reached at 75 mass · Rend · 1.4s cooldown

The Rend leaves a bleed that keeps ticking for 3 seconds after your prey flees. Ghouls win fights they appear to lose: hit once, disengage, let the bleed finish it.

4. Vampiric Imp

Reached at 160 mass · Blood Spit · 1.1s cooldown

Blood Spit is your first ranged attack, and it weakens whatever it hits by 25% for 3.5s. Open with it before anything bigger than you commits.

5. Dire Bat

Reached at 285 mass · Screech · 2.6s cooldown

The Screech is a 290-radius area slow. It is the first ability that changes a whole fight instead of one duel — use it on a pack, not a single target.

6. Vampire

Reached at 460 mass · Mesmerize · 3.2s cooldown

Mesmerize roots prey for 0.6s in a cone and drinks deep. Short on purpose: it sets up a kill, it does not stun-lock one.

7. Nightstalker

Reached at 720 mass · Shadow Blink · 4s cooldown

Shadow Blink teleports 300 units with 0.8s of invulnerability, and a hit landed from behind does 1.7x. The Nightstalker is the assassin tier — arrive from the wrong side.

8. Vampire Lord

Reached at 1,060 mass · Bat Swarm · 5s cooldown

Bat Swarm sends six hunters that live 4.5s. It is zone control: throw it where prey must go, not where prey is.

9. Ancient Elder

Reached at 1,520 mass · Crimson Nova · 6s cooldown

Crimson Nova is a 290-radius detonation with 440 knockback. It exists to break a gang-up — cast it when you are surrounded, not when you are chasing.

10. Dread Progenitor

Reached at 2,100 mass · Crimson Cataclysm · 7.5s cooldown

Crimson Cataclysm: 360 radius, 520 knockback, and it feeds you a fifth of the carnage. Reaching this form also summons the crown — see the Crimson King guide.

What happens after tier 10?

Reaching the Dread Progenitor at 2,100 mass is not the end of the ladder — it is the summons. At 2,150 mass the arena calls a Blood Rush, a 30-second trial between the top candidates, and the winner is crowned Crimson King. Above even the crown sits Dracul, the dragon form, earned by outlasting heaven's champions on the throne or by growing genuinely monstrous. Both are covered in the Crimson King guide.
